Car Wash to Benefit Fallen Detention Officer, Gene Lee – All proceeds to support officer’s family
Phoenix, Ariz. (November 6, 2019) – Cobblestone Auto Spa will join the MCSO Memorial Fund to host a charity car wash. They are raising money for fallen Maricopa County Detention Officer Gene Lee who suffered an attack by an inmate while on the line of duty. Lee was a six-year veteran of the sheriff’s office. Officer Lee died in the hospital on Wednesday, October 30th surrounded by his family. Officer Lee is survived by his wife and two children.
A free car wash fundraiser event will be held at Cobblestone Auto Spa’s Scottsdale Location at 15816 N. Pima Road. Donors at this location will receive a free Polish & Shine Express Car Wash with a $5 donation and a free Supreme Full-Service Car Wash with a donation of $10 or more. In addition, members of the MCSO Memorial Fund will be on hand volunteering and showing their support.
Although not all locations are offering free car washes, all 27 of Cobblestone Auto Spa’s locations will accept donations on behalf of the MCSO Memorial Fund for the benefit of Officer Lee’s family
100 percent of all car wash donations will directly benefit Officer Lee’s family.
When: The car wash benefit for fallen Officer Gene Lee will be held Wednesday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
